Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Environmental Design from Kent State University and brings nearly 20 years of rich, hands-on experience to every project.

Shortly after graduating, he ventured west to San Diego, CA, where he immersed himself in the complexities of building residential properties. This invaluable exposure gave Brian a unique builder’s perspective, deepening his understanding of the intricate relationship between thoughtful design and practical construction.

Over the years, Brian has refined his design process by bridging the gap between clients and builders, ensuring that every vision is fully realized with precision and care.

Before founding HAVN Architecture, he served as the Residential Studio Leader at AODK, a respected architectural boutique firm in Cleveland, Ohio.

In addition to leading HAVN Architecture, Brian is an active Partner and Architect at Modern Smart Homes, a collaborative firm of architects, interior designers, and builders dedicated to creating sustainable, modern residences throughout northeast Ohio. Their work goes beyond building houses—they craft thoughtfully designed sanctuaries that truly feel like home.
